Yesterday, 3/22/09, I was at Tulloch near the dam, was fishing for trout at about 15 ft. down with smaller silver cowbells with a needlefish, light blue and purple in color, black dots along back. Ended up catching an almost 3 lb. king salmon. Was wondering if this is common for Tulloch? and if there are a lot of Kings in Tulloch?

I've never heard of kings in Tulloch. Do you have a picture of the fish you can post up?

I think a koke and a inaccurate scale.

Welcome to the boards.

my brother in laws dad works for tridam which operates the dam at Tulloch (he fishes the lake a lot, he said he has caught, Rainbow, browns, and kokanee) and what you caught was not a king, but most likely a Kokanee, the kokanee in tulloch can grow to be 3 lbs (Good food, not much competition) so I would bet that what was caught was a koke, or maybe a lighter colored Brown Trout, so without pics its hard to know what you have caught??? so please post any pics of this phantom fish, so the experts can all argue over what you have been lucky enough to catch.

Nothing wrong with that. A big fat koke will be really delicious.

(Bummer - I got all excited when I read the title)

You have to host them at another site then transfer here. Theres info on many boards here on top with the sticky threads.

I use www.Photobucket.com & load up my pictures there, then I get the URL # from there and post it here. Try the preview before posting to see if it works.
