started fishing at first light and the action was fast and furious ;D before I could even get the rod on the downrigger those trout would snatch it :o It was one of the days where you could throw anything in the water and they would hit it, we exspeiramented with many lures and they all caught trout. We decide to give the trout a break and chase the crappie, sounded good but the trout were eating our crappie jigs before the crappie could get them :D It was a awesome day on the water with a ton of fished released including the only salmon we landed tody. Will be taking a few days off to recover. here's some pics of the action.

Congrats on your recent run... you're the envy of many on this board for all the fishing you've been able to do the past month, not to mention all the success. Great job!

Lake McClure, Blood Alley (Hunters Point) is where Kyle found the fish and the local boys today , all who I have introduced them to this lake for quick limits. Kent

On the surface, 90 to 150 feet back, 1 to 1.5 mph is where I would start no deeper than 15 feet right now for the brookies and rainbows, Kent

That's one heck of a day. The company you keep seems a little suspect but it appearantly didn't hurt the fishing.

Matter of fact I'd be willing to bet you, a hosted trip in my boat for a hosted trip in yours, that your fishing partner's fiance didn't know he was fishing today.

looks like local boys need a jack plate!

Very nice pictures!

Do you need to sew the mouths shut with that shad rig?

In regards to sewing the mouth shut the answer is no, just hook front hook through both lips insert one of the shanks in the tail of the treble hook and then pull the leader to put a slight bend in the shad so it rotates. Kent
