Work has been a little slow, this week so I decided to take today off to do some fishing. My dad, brother and buddy where on the water by 8am....fished till 12:30 for 10fish keeping 6 with fish ranging from 12-16in. All fished were caught in the windy gap area, using rapalas, wedding rings, and cripplures. It was a beautiful day to be on the water.

Joetech,

We could have used that luck a few weeks back. I like those middle of the week outings too! Thanks for sharing...

Welcome aboard rodhot.

Joe thanks for the report. Good to spend the day with the family and enjoy that NR.

I think you have seen the pattern that is going to exist for a few months now. I do know of 6# trout being caught last week on a perch needle-fish, so there a a few lurking in that lake. Just have to be the lucky one.

NEWSFLASH! DFG planted the 'TtRrOoPpHhYy' trout in the main lake a couple weeks ago. They brought their own boat with about a 700 gallon tank, moved fish from truck to tank, motored out to the middle of the main body (only body really) and turned'em loose. We see that a lot of the big fish have moved back to the dock area....."and dey swam and dey swam all over the dam...."

Welcome to the neighborhood Rodhot. I'm a 'Flat' man myself.

Thanks for the report Joetech. Skallywag, this answers my questions from my friend who saw pics of trout being caught earlier this week of 21-24" trout. Might be up there this weekend.
