Freon and headed up to do a little exploring today at Pedro. Got to the lake (Moccasin) around 8am in a steady down pour :-/, so much for the rain stopping at 6 ::). Headed up the river arm and Freon drew 1st blood on a small bow around 12", shortly after I landed the 2nd about the same size. We headed back down stream and started working the area around the 1st bridge. I landed a nice bow around 17" at 33'OTW and then Freon got a double :). Both ended up being bass. We trolled down to and below the 2nd bridge marking fish but only hooking up bass from 11' to 45' OTW. We did end the day with another double but bass again. Total for the day was 16 fish with only 3 trout. Great time on the water with Freon as usual, but next time he needs to remember what the target species is, or at least keep them on his rods only ;) ;D.

Sounds like a good day on the water. Maybe it will pick up in a week or two. No pics?

Uh, arent you the bass guy? >:(
And if that happened, you would have only caught two fish and that would have left me with fourteen, are you really sure you want that to happen? ;D ;D

You really should try to get a job as a rain man! That's one thing your really good at... bringing on the rain.

Great report and pics, guys. The water looks fairly clean from the pics you took.

Don'T you just love it when they come "plowing" by and putting a nice wake in the narrows. >:( >:(
