How do you interpret the DFG fish planting schedule? *Do the dates mean week ending plants or week beginning plants? *Does the week of 12/7/08 mean they will be planting between 12/7/08 - 12/13/08 or does it man that they planted between 11/30/08-12/7/08?
For the Week of 12/7/2008
Amador Silver Lake
El Dorado Loon Lake
El Dorado Union Valley Reservoir
Nevada Jackson Meadows Reservoir
Sacramento Folsom Lake
Sierra Stampede Reservoir

DFG is somewhat vague intentionally to thwart the trout truck chasers, so your guess is as good as anyone's. ;)

"Specific dates are not given so that fishing activity will not be focused right after the time of the plant."

"The week of" means the week following the given date.

Thank you for your quick reply's! I really don't blame the DFG for not giving exact dates. At least I can plan my weekends more accordingly now. Thanks again.

No skill in fishing at the dump site. [smiley=guns.gif] Maybe that's where "Shooting fish in a barrel" came from.
