This is a gift for my boss who just had surgery to remove some cancerous tissue. Looking for guide at Lake Tahoe for some Macs or Pyramid for some Cutts. August would be the month of choice. Thanks guys.

Here is a site that you should look at for Tahoe fishing guides

http://www.boattahoe.com/guides.htm

As for Pyramid Lake there is no guide fishing to be had from July thru the end of September. But from October 1st thru June 30th is the Trout fishing season, at Pyramid. George Molena would be my best suggestion for Pyramid, You could reach him at the Pyramid Lake Store, or call up Crosby lodge or go to www.crosbylodge.com for Guide info at Pyramid lake.

I have had a chance to fish with Gene St. Denis at Blue Ribbon Charters.
He is a great guy to fish with, and an excellent guide.
He also tells some great stories, funny as hell too!

although he gets grumpy on a light bite :)

seriously, gene works really hard, you will not have a bad day with him, and you will have the chance for a fish of a lifetime.

He did not really get too grumpy when I fished with him, He just hunkered down and worked even harder.
And yes he did produce! *:)

That's 10 months away, is everyone sure your boss will live that long?

Not at all. When Cancer is involved things can change in a hurry.

fndaway66, wonderful thought. Hopefully there is a full and speedy recovery. Regardless of any other comments, or even a dire prognosis, HOPE is what recovery is all about.

Good luck!

My comment was callous and I do apologize if I offended anyone.
Having faced that question myself put a different light on the subject for me, sorry.

I hope there is full recovery for your boss and you guys get your day of fishing in.
