Fished this weekend. *Here's a pic of the Upper Twin Lake. *Lots of weeds and I could hear the float tubers complaining. *Only tried it for an hour before heading up to Ellery.

Here's a pic of my daughter reeling in the first and only trout at Twin.

Here's one of the fish she pulled in at Ellery.

We ended up with 9 fish. *Lost No. 10 at the bank. *Only one I reeled in and I lose it. * :o *Yellow pb was the only color that worked for us even though I mixed it up. *Tried lures and flies as well.

Guys next to us were using inflated crawler with gulp to keep it afloat and were knocking them dead. *Couldn't get bit on a crawler the day before. *Go figure. *Didn't have any more crawlers either when we went back up to Ellery either.

Nice trip. *Daughter was very happy and she really likes eating those high altitude trout.

That smile is worth more than all the trout in the Eastern Sierra, Lovely pictures. Nice trout. Most likely be down that way in a couple of weeks. The colore are starting to turn.

NRJ that looks like the perfect trip. I miss the days of my little girl loving hitting the lakes. She is 13 now so the draw for the hills comes less often.
Those smiles are what it is all about. Nice of you to get her in to the fish.

Have a 13 year old daughter too. She's not into fishing anymore and hasn't been in years. Definitely not taking any of these trips for granted. Hopefully, this one will fish with dad for a while to come. She really loves it.

Leaves are turning fast. Amazed at the change in just one week. I mean the trees heading up to Tioga Pass were not turning last week. Even my daughter said the same thing to my wife.
