Hello from Carson City!!! I recently got the tip on my Sage fly rod fixed and broke down and bought a real reel.(not like you need a reel for the type of fly fish'n I've been doin) In the past 2 weeks I have been to quite a few bodies of water in this beautiful area and got to see tons of gorgeous trout. Areas fished: Lake Tahoe,Red Lake,Red Lake Creek,West/East forks of Carson River,Taylor Creek,Upper Truckee River,Trout Creek,Cold Creek, and most recent Saxon Creek. Toplining, jigging, casting from shore and on the fly. Most fish on the fly ;) Here are some of the specimens encountered.http://momentoffame.com/photopost/data/514/DSC03113.JPGhttp://momentoffame.com/photopost/data/514/DSC03035.JPGhttp://momentoffame.com/photopost/data/514/DSC03076.JPGhttp://momentoffame.com/photopost/data/514/DSC03046.JPGhttp://momentoffame.com/photopost/data/514/DSC03077.JPGhttp://momentoffame.com/photopost/data/514/DSC03097.JPGhttp://momentoffame.com/photopost/data/514/DSC031161.JPGGood luck, Eric :)

Im gunna have to say that the fish in the third pic is a nice cutt. i say this cuz the olive spots towards the end of the body most cutts spots are towards the tail and the silver olive hue! looks like a heenan cutt! ;)

That's what Lahontan cutts generally look like, cowboyfisher21. The fish in your earlier post was either a rainbow or a strain of LCT that I've never seen before.

All you guys are posting some great pictures of wild fish. 8-)

Very nice little trohpys Eric. Where do hit Trout and Cold Crks. (ie. Between L.T. & Hy50 or Hy50 & P.T. or P.T. & High Meadows ?) You dont have to tell us cause there are too many moskieters there anyways for me.
