Fallen Leaf Lake info

Heading to Tahoe this week to celebrate some birthdays, I have 3 daughters that want to fish. We plan to hit Fallen Leaf lake Sat am kind of early, does anyone have useful info for bank fishing there. Would love to have some fresh trout to go with the birthday beers that evening... :D

My default solution would be to go deep with a powerbait/marshmallow/salmon egg smorgy. Interested to see if anyone has fished this lake recently...

If you dont have luck there go over to Red Lake for some brookies. Good axcess for kids off the dam.
