I need to be at Stateline for the day tomorrow and will have a few hours to play. Can I shore fish Tahoe in this area? Or, are there any streams or lakes in a short, like really short, drive from the casinos?
My map shows a stream (or possibly a trickle) between Tahoe and Fallen Leaf lakes, anyone know if this is worth hitting? I'm not familiar with south Tahoe, anyone have any advice?

Hey brother, check your PM's. Good luck, Eric :)

That is a fishable stream between fallen leaf and lake tahoe. However, there are very specific regulations with regard to it. I believe the Tahoe tributaries have a limited window of allowable fishing. Check the regulations.

Taylor Creek up to Fallen Leaf Lake is open July 1 to September 30, as are all Tahoe Lake tributaries upstream to the first lake. Limit 5 fish, 10 in possession.
