Got a late start, around 11am, but great fishing. Everyone was catching fish, specially the float tubers fly fishing. I pulled a olive wooly bugger and we got a few on cinammon also. Didn't have the net, lost a nice 18" bow at the boat trying to pull him in by hand. Not smart. Anyways, it was a WONDERFUL day, had a great time :)

That second rainbow is a L 8-) 8-)ker. *You appear to have had a fun and rewarding opener. *I like those buggers :)

That second one is a real nice one. Full of spots, and nice full fins. Never heard of Hume Lake before, where is it at?

Hume is about 50 miles east of Fresno, Ca. It is up highway 180. It is best known for the Christian Camp that is located on the lake. Ya, the fish were actually pretty good quality, not typical real small 10" stockers.

I love Hume Lake. I probably had my hottest day of fishing ever there at the swim area about 20 years ago. 8-)

Sounds like it's a long ways from Reno, probably will never make it there, but nice fish none the less.
