Today was my first time at Del Valle. My 12 year old son and I trolled silver F5 Rapalas behind flashers. My son caught two, to include this 5.8 pounder, his PB to date. *;) *;)

I got skunked by him for the first time ever, but it was well worth it!!

Nice Pic, where were you around the dam or in the narrows? Looks like you had no skunk, remember the captain always leads you to the spot.....Jetspray

Nice going! Letting your son catch the fish and a PB at that is pretty cool.

I like that spin Jetspray........I'm gonna go with it!! ;D ;D

Both of our fish were caught on the south end. The larger was caught near the dam. A cookie cutter size was caught a couple of hours later right near the swim beach. A good day indeed.
