I tried it once last year out at the flats. I let it soak the night before in some chovie oil, just for fun ;)
I got no hits jigging along the bottom, maby I was doing somthing wrong; or maybe the butts we intrested in the 50+ boats around me using live chovies. :-?

Maybe they will work before the live bait season, because there wonít be many anchovies around.
Iím sure those will limit out on rock cod and lings!

I made HFC a dozen clouser minnows to try. I think they would work better than hardware, I tried a couple things last year, kinda like that and no strikes.

I have had some luck using a green or blue one for halibut but have got bit maybe three to one by salmon while trying to get halibut outside bodega
