Got a later start than wanted to today, on the lake at 820. *Lake is pretty low, especially compared to june/july. *If the yahoos only new what was just a little lower maybe they would slow down in the summertime.

Trolled all day.

Water temp was 53 degrees

Speed changed from slow to fast to slow...1.0gps-2.3gps
Lures tried today..rapalas,humdingers,criplures,needlefish,hom emade spinners, threaded worm.
colors..every possible color under the sun.
depthtop 20 feet all day
attractorsseps dodgers, sling blades, flashers, side kicks, *Buck naked "real cold doing it this way"

1 bass caught on humdinger around 1030 and thats about it.http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/12/34321193850.jpg (http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=7262015)
usual ramphttp://img2.putfile.com/thumb/12/34321193884.jpg (http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=7262019)
other ramp....very good still...easy to launchhttp://img2.putfile.com/thumb/12/34321385282.jpg (http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=7262123)

Did see these beauties come down for a drink..watched them for a while http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/12/34321193771.jpg (http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=7262014)
Here's where I went on the map, where you see blue on the GPS is not all there right now.http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/12/34321193839.jpg (http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=7262021)

Still a nice a peaceful day on the water..2 other boats out there. 1 bass fisherman and 1 troller. *He didn't get a nibble, but he did give me a ride to my truck when we pulled out for the day. *Thanks again.

Good report. Did the rain last week muddy it up at all? That lake muddies pretty easily.

Way to go Jon. Looks like you got your new toys working. From your GPS picture I would say you covered the lake. Kind of cool that you couldn't test your VHF because now you have to go again to test that.

Looks like a beautiful day on the water, way better than working.

I was worried about that also cause someone else warned me about that. I can't say that it was muddied at all. Looked pretty good to me today. So I can't blame it on that. I even got some great tips from FishwithGary. Just wasn't meant to be today. Will try again sometime. I caught my biggest trout out of there 2 years ago.

WOW..The water sure is low,But i have seen it lower.
I like Collins ,and have caught some nice fish.My biggest was a 5 1/2 pound trout about 5-6 years ago.
I have fished Collins this year 4 times and hit all my usuall hot spots but only managed to catch 2 fish .
But any day on the water is better than the honey do list.
