Some interesting stuff on the fish finder. *Not sure what kind of fish these are put they sure didn't want to play with use. * Seen this same thing in three differant areas of the lake all at 60 to 70 ft

This is the location of the above screen shot these fish have been right in that spot for two weeks. *Most likely stripers.

It was 35 outside this morning but almost 60 inside my boat. It pays to have a full inclosure.

Good to see you got into'em woody, I boated one 17" bow in Heron bay top lining a fire tiger rapala.

Tradgetysprings was there? I gave few calls on the radio but no response. Fish-tin was out there, I talked to him all morning over the radio, that's all I heard on 69.

Glad to see got into the fish. I will be out there sunday with my wife and son to try our luck. I have graphed schools like that and dropped orange rapalas on a downrigger only to catch squaw fish. :-/

One fish in the box, tough morning. Fished the normal places, Woody-Good to meet you today. Most likely those fish are Stripers hanging down low and eating!

hey woody looks like you left me a couple fish!!I was out there today & fished it all day for my father in laws b day..ended up with 5 trout and we also c&r 3 stripers .did you catch those fish on the downrigger? i got one fish at the dam and the rest in both bays.covered a lot of area and every lure in the box,but all fish were caught on the shell beige lucky craft.quickly becoming my favorite at del valle. didnt realize so many sniffers were out there...also glad to here you were so warm in your boat, cuz it was bitterly cold out there!!I saw you hook in to one as i was snagged above the very group of striper you were pointing out..i also noticed them there last week..

I also noticed them there along the bottom - but they were more towards that cove across from swallow bay at about 65 ft down. I dont know what they were but I was catching stripers there trolling worms like you would not believe. 25 ft down on the rigger. Must 've caught 15 or 20 like clockwork. (all shakers though) Sorry JohnBFishin my handheld crapped out.(dead batteries) I saw you and the Smokercraft there at the launch when we were just getting started. Remember the mexican looking guy with the two newbies in a red lund? that was us.

Now I have to go find my other post and get rid of it ::). I did see that red Lund and had a thought that it was someone I knew.

Seriously we can help each other out when fishing this lake.....stars but more importantly radios.....besides it's a hell of a lot more fun shootin' the shhit if the bite isn't on. 8-)
