Jtreble fishing from shore has actually been better then the trolling for the past few weeks. Power bait and power eggs in the narrows to the right of the boat launch about a 1/4 mile walk. If you have a two rod stamp, I would try casting kastmasters on the second rod. About the boat thing I fished DV for about 25yrs before finally buying a boat last yr.

See you on the water

Jtreble If you walk the trail down to the narrows just before or after the small cove. The walk down to the water is not steep or muddy it is all gravel to the water. But Shadow cliffs is a much shorter walk if you aren't into walking a bit.

Good Luck

Depending on the location and time of the year, a good bank fisher can outfish the typical boat fisher. I generally do at Amador in the fall when the planters are more shore oriented.
