Trollers hooking up with Uncle Larry's Spinners or Wedding Rings with or without flashers at depths from the surface to 20 feet from the Dam to the Chimney and back. The Brush Pile and Handicapped Docks have been the top area for bank anglers tossing chartreuse or rainbow Power Bait, inflated nightcrawlers or pink Power Egg/'crawler combinations. Wood said no plants are scheduled for December, but unscheduled trout plants should occur.

Mike Van Guilder of Fishwrangler's Bass Guide Service reported the most consistent bass action has been on Berserk jigs in browns or greens worked from 10 to 80 feet as the fish are scattered throughout the water column. Overall, bass fishing has been difficult, but a few large fish landed on Huddleston rainbow trout swim baits. Dropshotting is catching good numbers of small fish. Fourteen year-old Jared Cook of Atwater landed a 10.4-pound largemouth on a Melon Craw Berserk jig in 40 feet of water. Trout plants are scheduled for next week. Crappie are taken under lights at the Dam at 40 feet in depth with small minnows or along the tree tops in Piney Creek or Barrett's Cove. Catfish averaging 3 pounds are found on anchovies or live crawdads in 15 to 20 feet of water.
