launched about 9am, trolled the dam to the bend, toplining Rap J7, wedding rings Red were the ticket for me, beaded spinners "Stingers", in pinks. hit and miss, *couldn't keep them stuck, went to double hook set up still couldn't stickem. had about 3 strikes, 5-6 LDRs, lost 2 netting, ended up 3 in the box. marked a LOT of fish at 50 feet, ukn what kind. planter fish 11 1/2 -12 inchers.

Rap j-7 in orange and gold for 1 fish
red wedding ring, tipped W/Atlas salmon eggs for 2 fish and a few LDRs
Shasta tackle stinger in pink for a few LDRs

talked to a fella in another boat, w/ his kid, he had 7 fish, using dodger and neddlefish.

Nice,
Havn't fished that lake in about 10 years.. And never for trout.
Remember that lake bieng very quiet, and small? And 15 mph?
Maybe will hit it this winter..
Question.. Does that lake get low or does it pretty much stay fishable by boat all year??

well it was maybe 5-7 ft low, and not many boats at all, more bass fishing I guess, speed now 5 mph.

I can see why there were not the many boats at Los Banos Creek Res.
I ate a trout last night-------- :o :o---------absolutly AWFUL, taste like MUD & ALGE, I knew it!, when I saw all kinds of alge when I launched, even have green spots on my trailer. YUK!

nice report, bubba. sorry about the taste..........seems like another reason for catch and release... i have learned that if the meat is not red/pink it is gonna taste that way...
