I am going to make a trip up the mountain before any snow, and wanted to know everyones choice between ICR and Davis. I will be going on wed. :o

Unless you want to catch some whiskerfish, you might want to wait on Davis. * Here's the DFG website link to the poisoning progress at Davis...

If you're going that direction, why not try Eagle or Almanor, or maybe even Frenchmen...

out of the three which do you think would be best bet, I have never been to any of them... Really appreciate this sight, you all have been a great help with fishing ;D

My son in law went xmas tree scouting at Davis and came across

FIVE WARDENS !! (hidden & driving )

They are keeping a very close eye on things up there.

For a first-timer you will have your best chance at success at ICR. Throw out some power bait or inflated worms.

I will take pics for sure. but I heard posting is difficult... I guess I will spend another busy day at the office on sniffer haha ;D

Frenchmans is a very good bank fishing lake right now. use powerbait or inflated babynight crawlers. Fish at turkey point or lunker point. stop in at Wiggins trading post and get a map and the latest report. thay are catching limits everyday up there. good luck.
