I took four 17 yr old boys to D/V today. * They have fished D/V before but have never caught any fish and they had all but given up on fishing . *I think they may have changed there mind. * They all asked when we can go again. Orange is still the hot color but the rainbow trout
J-9 was a close runner up. *All fish were caught by the dam, toplining, 1.3 to 1.6 mph, water temp. 63.5 to 65.3

patiently waiting

Good job, Woody! It's good you got some confidence in those kids. I was about that age when I stopped fishing. It is so easy for them to get sidetracked at that age. Luckily for me, a friend got me back into the sport when I was in my late 20s. Love the pics.

Woody, wow, you guys really knock'em dead!!! I'll bet those young

chaps can't wait to go out again, days like that are just awesome....

I followed your advise and toplined a rapala j7, but most of my fish,

including the "big boy" came on a set of Sep's micro-blades followed

by a small snubber, with a 24in leader and a chartruese Rainbow

Runner. Great to see those kids having such a good time........ :)

Thanks Again
