I was told that the water level at Eagle lake was so low that launching a boat was very dificult. Is that true? I am hoping to get some first hand information as a bunch of us will be heading up there on the end of October and the beginning of November. We'll be staying at Spaulding and launching our boats from there if we can. Thanks, Sloughboy

I just talked to the lady at the Rv park in Spaulding, and she said people are launching with no problem

launch at gallatin beach, my grandparents have a lakefront two story cabin in spaulding tract, they told me that the new ramp in spaulding was closed due to low water.

Just called the general store in Spaulding, no problem launching at the
south spaulding ramp the north is shallower and boats larger than 14'
aluminums are encouraged to use the southern ramp.

Thanks for everyones response. It sounds like there really isn't a problem in launching. I can hardly wait to get up there and launch my boat. The fishing reports from the radio talk shows is that the water is getting colder and the fish are really turning on.
