Hey Fish sniffers

I am going to be in tahoe Sept. 7th through the 8th looking to go on a guided trip. We are staying in the tahoe Keys South Lake tahoe. Can anyone recommend a guide in that area. I know there are many that leave from the keys marina.

THanks

Woody,

Last time I fished Tahoe it was 5 years ago, but I think the charter I went on was Tahoe Sport charters, or there's Blue ribbon charters(Dennis)or,Mike Nielsen just about all guides out there are very good.
They really know everything about the lake.

Good luck, hope to read your report,

Rich(TW)

My son and I used Dennis at Blue Ribbon Charters last month. We weren't there at the best time (mid July) but still landed 4 and lost 4, He leaves from Cave Rock near Zephr Cove, about 15 minutes from S. Lake.

I would use him again without question.

If you dont wish to drive anywhere i would use Eagle Point charter. Have been with both dad and son guides and caught lots of fish ba\oth times.
PS you should move this to the Mack board

From what I understand Weez is one hell of a guide. He's caught lots of big browns out of Tahoe.

I think its Dory's Oar and sits over by the bowling alley and hardware store. Can't think of the street name. Spent many afternoons at the bar while working on the ice rink on Rufus Allen.

Dennis Mitchell Sportsfishing is solid. He will use light gear for Macks fishing with minows... super fun.

Mile High is another one. Anyone else use these guys?

This time of year i believe you must hire the Weez to guide you on your boat which is a pretty good idea if you want to learn stuff.
