Hi Guyís,

As you know I picked up my boat on Sat from Fish Junky (Kevin) all I can say is *[smiley=yahoo.gif]WOW I am so happy with her My truck towed her with no problem over the hill. When I got home I called Fishing Buddy up to see if he wanted to go to Pyramid on Sunday.

We didnít get on the lake until 11am boy what a zoo the weather was great. *I had John back me down so I could drive the boat off the trailer yes *[smiley=yikes.gif]I said drive the boat off the trailer I printed out stuff on the proper way to launch and drive your boat back on the trailer.

So Iím telling John to make sure my truck is out of overdrive and I also told him that I read when you launch the boat you need to keep it hooked up to make sure the motor is warmed up then you un hook it and back it off the trailer.

John backís me down and then he un hooked the boat I told him *[smiley=nerves.gif]no he had to wait but does he listen to me *>:(NEVER the next thing I know Iím floating off the trailer thank god the motor started up right away so I slowly backed away from the dock and then put her in neutral to warm her up.

We headed to the needles we both caught a fish I was using my purple and black sting king and he was using is blue and chrome double flutter from Kenís tackle we were in 60-80 ft of water marking a lot of fish from 5-30 ft down.

[smiley=hissyfit.gif]I noticed that my kicker motor was cutting out a lot I believe it was the altitude I know you have to adjust for that so I called Kevin this morning and he told me a few things to do.

All in all I am so [smiley=cheerleader.gif] very happy that I bought the boat even fishing buddy said I was doing a good job. ::) When I drove the trailer on I have to learn to slow *[smiley=yikes.gif]down a bit but I did ok I actually got a good night sleep last night I have been worried for the last 2 weeks that I wouldnít be able to drive it I know I will get better with time.

Hey Chick, way to go on the boat score. Not like my jalopy, but I can troll in six feet of water! We cut out Saturday due to the wind, glad you had a good day on Sunday. Now it looks like June 21 is my next, and last opportunity for Pyramid this year.

Beth glad you got her on the water. Don't worry so much you'll get wrinkles. I didn't see your life vest [smiley=angry.gif] You better be safe and wear it. Just remember don't get in a rush. Catching fish on your first trip on your new boat is iceing on the cake. [smiley=clap.gif]

Beth, Now that's the pictures I wanted to see. I am happy that you caught fish on your first trip. You'll have a lot of good fun with her like I did.

Remember, Main motor down and the kickers primer bulb is tight. ;)

Kevin, your boatless for the first time in many years. I am sure was hard to let her go, but, the new 21' NR is going to be nice. Looks like your boat went to a good home, Beth will have many good times in it and it know how to catch fish.

That's for sure. I had a boat around since I was 15. I'am not use to going in the garage and it not being there. My wife sure likes it thow. She now gets to put her car in there.

Beth, You'll love that boat more and more. It does indeed no where the fish are. The last skunk that boat seen was last salmon season on the rivers. Have fun. :)

That explains everything, I had Frank out on Sat and we got skunked ;)
I checked you new ride out when it was in the parking lot and almost swapped boats with you. It's a nice ride, I'm jealous.
