Hey troutjl,
Pardee is warming up now. Read the fishing report on the pardee website. I did go this weekend. I hooked up a #6 and a nice #10. Released a few smaller ones. Good luck if you go.

Thanks for the information. A 10 pound trout is hard to picture.
Think about it. I am more confused now. When I catch 21" trout they are about 2-3 pounds. How long is a 10 pound trout?

they dont have to be long at all they are cutbows or hybrids....

Is Pardee still producing Trout in numbers? I stopped going there a while ago because I figured that the water was warming up too much.

The 10# I got was a FAT 24 inches. Its girth was huge. Pardee is starting to get crowded now that the weather is warming up, in some places on the bank its almost shoulder to shoulder. This isn't the way I like to fish. Soon I'll be headed up higher as soon as the ice breaks in the higher lakes.

Pardee produces for me great in the summer its a nice shorter drive than going up the hill water is always cold enough to catch fish at 20'30' feet which in some parts isnt that far out, its ok you all fish somewhere else ill take the rest of them ;D.

PS. Yeah those 10# dont get huge huge, the fish are like us they only get so long(tall) then they grow around the equator :D
