Went to Loch Lomond today on the water by 7:00 set out lines on the downriggers at 10,15,and 20' . started catching fish at a little before 8:00 at 15' then gradually went lower down to 25 ft. by 10:00. Caught 15 total most in the 13-14" range . .Off the water around 11:30. It was absolutely perfect weather out there today and the lake was very calm all morning never saw more than 2 other boats and a kayak or 2 .

Right on LJ,
So what was your set-up and did you use lures or bait. *

I used Uncle Larrys spinners with a nightcrawler on them. Pro Special Green probably caught half the fish . I had a power spin in Pink that did well, along with a Pro Blue. Fished without flashers and had no problem catching them.

I also tried slowing down a bit. All fish were caught between .8 to 1.3 m.p.h

I fished with my son for a few hours and caught fish continuously trolling a wedding ring night with a crawler.

We were out there on Friday . Caught 20+ fish an average around 12" but 5 or 6 that were a little larger and a little heavier. started towards the narrows and worked back toward the ramp as the day went on. caught 1 or 2 on the top, everthing else was between 15-30 ft. with most caught below 20 ft. Used the same setups , Uncle Larrys spinners with night crawlers.
Does anyone if there are any shad or other baitfish in Loch Lomond?

Itís been awhile, I can remember if they were bluegills or crappies that Iíve caught before. I also seen minnows in the shallow too.

The California Department of Fish and Game stocks the reservoir with rainbow trout approximately every three weeks from March to July.
