We fished this morning from 6:30 till 11:00 caught 9 trout and one small bass. Same lures as before but with the warmer temps I added 1/2 oz weight. We didn't get any hits in Badger cove today but we caught fish in all the coves in Heron Bay.

As I stated in earlier posts gold/ green Kastmasters and J7 Rapalas in Perch pattern. Yesterday we added a 1/2 oz weight to the line on the K/M. I believe location is very important the fish are holding in the coves. If you are heading to the dam start in the first cove to the right start in the back of this cove and troll out, make a left coming out of the cove troll that shoreline all the way down to the longest cove troll in there to the end reel in turn around and troll out.

I should be out there mid week in the afternoon

I was out there last sunday. Caught my limit before noon. I was using a J7 in fire tiger on my downrigger at 15 feet. I agree with woody, it seemed like there was alot of fish in the coves. Every time I passed through the middle cove in Heron Bay I caught a fish.
