Never tried a indicator before and I really don't like nymphs !!

I am a dry fly or streamer man, but what the heck............ :-/

Since my # 8 is not set up for drys and does not have a slow sink
I had to go with my four weight rod.

It was a "little windy" today, so my longest cast was about 60 feet
with the "noodle rod". :'(

What a difference 24" of rod makes !! :o :o (8'6" vs 10'8")

Anyway, No pictures today, with the waves and mossy rocks, yours truly, went for a swim !! Camera had a quick bath, so did not want to chance any pictures............

Had four nice slot fish over 21" and two under 19", no 24+ fish.

All the big fish were bucks and the two little one were hens. For
what ever that is worth?

Might be the last time I use nymphs or midges.......pretty boaring
looking at a indicator all day !!

Felt like I was after crappie or Bluegill. :-[

Easy now Ed....crappie and bluegill are trophy fish where I am from....KS ;) ;). Sorry to hear about your swim. Good thing I wasn't there. As soon as I had figured out you were okay you know the smartas#$ remarks would have been flyin ::) ;).

At least you got to do some fishing. This is my favorite time of year to fish pyamid and I may not make it for another couple weeks. Anyway, thanks for the report. If I do get a chance to go this weekend I will definitely let you know and maybe we can hook up again. Thanks again for the report.

Sorry to hear about your accidental swim. Did you fish near Pelican? When you say indicator,do you mean bobber? Atleast you caught fish!

Captain;

I,matey, Pelican it was...............aarrrggg !

The indicator was a foam float on the end of my floatingline.

I tried my camera this morning...........nothing.... would not turn on.
Recharging the batteries and will give it one more try.

I think it's DEAD !! :'( Bummer....... :'( :-[

That's a huge loss for all of us depending on your pictures to feed our fishing addictions. :'( :'(. Hope the recharge does the trick.
