went out last Sun. trolled the damn, no luck. One guy reported two fish in the early am. That was about it. Most everyone seemed to have what I had...ZERO.

This time of the year fish the South Fork...

That would be your best bet

I was out there again today. Absolutely beautiful day on the lake; beaches are big, weather is perfect, and the trout are biting. I took the whole family out today; wife, 7 year old, 5 year old, 1.9 year old, and the dog.
We fished for about 45 minutes over by the dam at about 11:00. 7 year old got one in the boat and then 5 year old hooked up and landed another one. Both fish were 15 1/2" holdovers. Wife wanted to take the baby over to the beach so we spent a couple of hours in the sand.
I'd say it is definitely worth the trip but I don't know how far you have to travel. Even if we didn't catch anything it's nice to be out there.
I got a nice limit on Monday as well.
