I will be taking a small 12' boat out to do some trolling. Mostly toplining(no riggers). What do you think would be the best option?

Lake Davis or Frenchmens.

I fished Stampede yesterday and it was pretty slow. I caught a few near Davies creek But you can catch fish toplining in the Little Truckee inlet cove. It's not very deep but the water temp is cold enough for toplining, 58 degree's.
I marked a lot of big fish in there but no takers. the Kokes are starting to bunch up and you'll see a lot of them in there, good luck. *:)

For consistent action and great scenery this time of year, its tough to beat Jackson Meadows. When the snow starts to fly and temp's drop off a bit more, Stampede and Jackson are both productive. Just be prepared if anyone heads out that time of year.

Fished prosser today landed 3 nice rainbows, lost amny more. got kind of a late start dure to engine failure. It is really nice only being 5 minutes away from fishing though. I will probably try and hit jackson a couple weeks from now.

Do you want free fishing or lakes that you have to pay a fee ?

Trout, kok , browns, etc ?

Anything close could mean Martlet ?

How about a little more info...........
