I placed a phone call to Lake Amador on Friday. They anticipate starting stocking the lake about the second week of October. Just a few more weeks and it will be time to "rip it up" ! [smiley=angling.gif]

Hmmm. If they start the second week of October, means openning weeekend would be the same as the Fest @ Pyramid. Guess those cutbows will just have to wait an extra week.

If they start planting the second week in october it will take a few weeks
of stocking to get the lake full of fish ;D so come enjoy yourself at pyramid fest.

the sad truth is that you are right, it takes at least about 4 or 5 plants before things start to get cooking.

Yes, amador will wait until after pyramid. I probably won't start until early nov. I will be in search of the elusive chromers for a while. ;)
