fished lower blue friday and saturday. Those plants must have helped because the bite was solid for two days. I fished from shore a while with
chart. power eggs and a crawler for about 15 fish in 2 hours. Threw some kastmasters from shore and got a few also. I also trolled the north end with gold/red cripplure and kastmaster for good results also.
Very clean fish all between 13-18". Probably landed 50+ fish in two days. We took some side trips to wet meadows, tamarack and sunset lakes. I landed a small bow at tamarack by the dam with a royal wulff on the fly rod. Sunset lakes must have had a algae bloom because it was really discolored. :( Wet meadows was windy as usual but i trolled around for about an hour or so for nothing.

Sounds like you had a great trip Josh. The pictures are beautiful. I have never been to blue lake. It looks very serene. You must be pretty worn out after all that "catching". [smiley=sleepy.gif]

I borrowed a friend's hobie kayak. It has foot pedals so you dont need to row. Very nice. It was great for going into the small channels on the north end of the lake.
