The mountains this year are wacked. I was on the Eastern and Western side of the range in the last few weeks. The best fishing is over 8.5k ft. However most of these areas are closed until the next week or so.

Bishop Creek Lakes are doing well ;)

I think it's great! Lot's of water for all the fishies. The 4th of July nimrods couldn't get to the good spots! A fantastic summer of fishing is ahead. In september, the water will still be up. This should be an epic year.

I second that! I fished Bridgeport Reservoir in September and October last year and the fishing was fantastic. All the big fish were staging right in front of the Marina. I guess they thought they were going to spawn in the East Walker! If the touristas want to get in some epic fishing they will have to do it after Labor day. That means more fish will survive the tourist season. I love wet years in the Sierra! ;)
