Hey Folks
Headin out there this Wed 3/29 I would REALLY appreciate any information on lake. Bringing the boat. Should I troll, drift, Any hot spots? :)

Hey Steve. Talked to the guy that owns the bait store at the marina the other day. He told me that if the flows out of Trinity lake are low (normal is 300-400 CPS) that trolling would be good. Otherwise, if te flows are higher, drifting would be the solution because of the current. You can check out his website at http://www.pine-cove-marina.com/ Their phone number is there to call also.

I have had some luck at lewiston trolling small leech pattern flies(sizes 6-8) in brown, black, and olive. But nightcrawlers always seem to be on the top of the list when you talk to people at Pine Cove Marina.
