Beautiful photos!

So what's the bait of choice? Do they bite on Power grubs?
Flycasting and balancing in one of those boats would be risky business.

P.S. Checked your website ... you've done some AWESOME audio work!

Those mountains look like Guilin in southern China. Are there trout there? If so, they must be transplants. Did you catch any?

NIce photos Schu - Kinda takes me back to 1969 and reminds me when a couple of my buddies and I wanted to go and sight see and maybe fish the coast of Taiwan.
We Hired a taxi to drive us to God knows where. Went through a lot of small villages and finally reached the coast. We walked down to the water and saw there were gun emplacements about every 300 yards. We turned around and before we knew what was happening we were being arrested by Taiwan Military Police.
The film was stripped from our cameras and a lot of shouting and finger shaking taking place not to mention the nervous guys with the guns pointed at us.
Okay ......so nobody speaks English and we don't speak Chinese. Thank God the Cab driver is finally is able to tell them we are SUPID Americans and we aren't subversives testing their defenses.
After about a half an hour of abuses we were motioned to leave. The cab driver took us back to our Base. We then proceded to tell others about the great fishing trip we made to the coast and that they should give it a try.
;D

Isn't that the place where you can flyfish with rat imitations for 60 pound german-brown-type looking trout relatives? I've seen pics of people with HUGE fish.

Those fishtraps in the top picture are pretty cool... The natives in AK use very similar traps for blackfish (nothing you would hook & line- they max out at 13"...).
