It sounds like the bite on the East side isn't there yet. So, does anyone have any experience in fishing the farther North West side?? I hope to try it this weekend.

Boat or shore? You did not say.....This Monday, there were a lot of boats at windless & spider. All were in the deeper water... only 10% in 50feet or less. 30% deeplining,30% topline (2oz wts?) 30% jigging.

Shore: The blockhouse "sucks" per man hour / fish rate.
Wino: is better. Seperator: also fair.
Worrior Point south: Poor per man hour.
But I am just one information ... go getum...Mr Ed

I agree w/ Mr. Ed. *Seems like they are holding/suspended in the deeper water. *Like 120'. *Doc and I toplined and dropped down 10' - 20' picked up about 8. *

Spoons and 2.5mph seems to be the ticket right now.

I have not done well at all with flatfish etc. *

Mick, I hope you guys come out, I might be out of town (not sure yet) but If I'm around I'll meet up with y'all.

I'll start tomorrow with Lymans and spoons at about 32.5 to 3 mph. I hope I can give you a good report when I get back.

I had a friend go out to Pyramid on Tuesday from 10 am to 3 pm. He went north towards the Willows. He was using Apexs, down about 26 ft. He said that they caught 15 fish in that 5 hr period. He did not saw what pattern of Apexs that they used.

Bad weather? *Well I caught my largest fish at Pyramid from shore when the weather was at its worst.**It's only cold and windy when you're not catching fish.*http://img416.imageshack.us/img416/4687/smallcraftwarning1hv.gif

I don't mind the weather when fishing off the bank, but when the wind kicks up at Pyramid, I get the heck off that lake. Not smart to stay out there not to mention the shear joy of trying to wrestle the boat back on the trailer.

Weds and Thurs look like better days to come up, I'll try to get a hold of the boys today and move it up a day 8) If it's snowing over the top Tues morning I'd hate to have to chain up the boat ???

Have you ever been on the lake with five or six foot waves?...I have. *That's why they have small craft warnings!
I've caught two over ten pounds in that lake and the weather was beautiful both days. *Fishing white caps is for suckers, wading or in a boat!
