Well first off thanks to dolphinwalker for the tips and inspiration to get up there...second sorry 'bout the lack of actual "fish pics." anyone who has fished with youngin's and a couple of manual rigger's will tell you...fish now pics later, if at all..

Report:

Fished Friday ONTW @ 7:00 caught 22 12-15 inches kept 8 OFFTW @ 3:00.
where the nice waterfall was earlier this year target the drop-off from 20' to 60' used a Sep's willow leaf mountain lite, short 12-inch leader and a threaded half of a mini crawler, dipped in sauce of course. Hunter my 4 1/2 YO had a great time and we saw the eagle take a dive for lunch.

I heard Saturday was a nut house ...glad we waited til. Sun.

Sunday,

Still worn out from fishing with the little guy I went up again with my oldest son Daniel 7. He has much time in the boat but still work for me fish for them.

We got 12 to the net took home 6. Bigger feistier too, This day I left one rigger at home a packed along a lead core set-up got 8 on that four colors 30 feet of fluorocarbon 10lbs on the end with same flasher as mentioned above but most fishing Sunday was with 2 1/2 feet of four pound leader to a smallest size Kastmaster chrome/blue, and when they took it they really nailed it, no LDR's with that set-up either. The little piece of metal has a much better survival rate aboard my boat than a bunch of crawlers that always never make the next trip.

Allot of skiers, jetters and a few totally clueless fau-fisher-line-runner-overers.
Nevertheless, allot of nice Fisher people too, overall not bad for a weekend trip.

Enjoy,
-fishable

Great report! I love that lake. I also think it's great to see people fishing with their kids. Your son looks like he's having a great time. I've had many days/weekends like that on Silver lake. August is typically the slowest month on Silver. It looks like the fish didn't know that. Besides catching good numbers of rainbows on that lake there are also decent size macs to be had. Your report makes me want to go back again.

Tight lines.

Just thought i would share a few picks fromm silver two weeks ago.Ithink the smiles on the family says it all.We fish silver just about every week. Were else can you go and chase big macks in the morning, then catch a limit of rainbows.Silver is by far the best lake to make everyone in the family happy.[img=http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/4233/hpim05671cc.th.jpg] (http://img295.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hpim05671cc.jpg)
