I've been reading that Virginia Lakes is supposed to be a hot group of lakes for some really great fishing. Virginia is on the Eastern side of the Serrias up above Bridgeport. Has anyone fished those lakes? If you have, what do you think of them? I had heard that they are stocked frequently and have large trophy/Breeder size put into the lakes. Any comment? ???

These lakes are fishing really well right now. A friend of mine went up there and caught a nice limit of fat stockers plus a 4lb. Alpers last week. I have fished these lakes in the last few years and always catch something. You have three lakes off the blacktop and two more are a short hike. Tubers do very well here with dry and wet flies. I always bank it(PB) and do well also. The scenery is breathtaking. Have fun! ;D

Oh Ya, and they have a store at the Lake with all the tackle that's hot and other stuff you might need like munchies or bug spray!
