We are aware some of you are still being confronted with login issues with the new vBulletin forums. This is not in error on your part but due to the data generated by the previous YaBB forum application which was migrated into our new database. Most all accounts were successfully imported into the new vBulletin forum applications database. A good thing!

Some of you will be required to login following the instructions below and rest your user name and passwords to how you want and like.

Please note in the reset email you receive you must follow the login instructions precisely and use exactly the username furnished in the email.

Once you are able to login and your user name was changed you can then change it back using the instructions below.

To recover your password go to this link: http://www.fishsniffer.com/forums/login.php?do=lostpw
and write your email used to create your account.

Shortly afterwards you will receive a new password with your username. Login with the exact username and password as receive in the email.

Once you login in the forum
Go to this link: http://www.fishsniffer.com/forums/profile.php?do=editprofile
to edit your profile and select the Username Change - Optional
You may change your username once every 21 day(s).
You can change your username only five times

NOTE: If your YaBB username contained spaces it was replaced with an underscore_ this must be entered in exactly as provided on your first time login. After you login you can change it back with a space by editing your profile settings. While you are in your profile settings....update your information and add a profile image if you like. A profile image helps other members recognize you and your post at a glance.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The new forums will run and operate much faster than the previous forum and offers more flexibility to our members and how we all share information. The Fish Sniffer has worked hard to bring you the best free platform to share your fishing experience on the web and we are continuing to strive to offer the best possible service to our members and visitors alike.

Thank you for your patience and if you have any questions or need assistance please contact us.

Keep in mind our forums are a work in progress and have moved to the new forums to begin taking advantage of the security the new forums offers our members and the site all together.

Best regards,
Duane Langshaw
