Fished Folsom yesterday, four hours prime time, no
fish. We tried all our dependable rigs, marked lots
of fish, but none interested. Not a lot of boats for
a sunny Thursday, and didn't see any others catch
anything. Fished in front of the dam and then the
mouth of the South Fork. The only change from
several weeks ago when the fishing was very good
is that the surfact temp has dropped from about
60 degrees to 55. Probably enough to turn them
off.

Well I went to folsom on friday with a new friend and fishing partner targeting KINGS, we started off using a white dodger and and a cop car apex on one downrigger @ 35 ft and on the other side was a pink hoochie with a sling blade @ 30ft. We stayed between the dam and dyke 8 in the main channel. we got no kings but landed 3 nice rainbows followed by a few hits off a worm/dodger combo. wierd day though. We were on the water at 830 caught 3 fish by 930 and nothing till 230 when we left. beautiful day and only a handfull of boats on the water.. we were marking fish all day from 30-40 ft but only outsmarted 3.. What else can we do to land those kings..
