Fished Pyramid with my buddy Bruce on Friday. Weather was gorgeous, very little wind, and cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon. We started at Hell's Kitchen. Saw very few fish, caught one at 22 inches at 60 feet on a bright orange Double Flutter by Ken's Custom Tackle. Went back across and fished near shore by Warrior Point. Bruce caught 4 more cutts -- from 18 to 21 inches -- all on a pale pink with black dots flatfish. All at 20 to 30 feet on the downrigger. Not a great catching day, but a great day fishing!

Welcome to the Sniffer Snifferman. Any day you are not blown off the Lake is a good day. You covered lots of water. You will get them nest time.

Snifferman, I believe I saw you in the "snifferboat" near Warrior on Friday. I was just leaving the area when you arrived. I found fish just south of warrior and boated 12 to 24".

You did a lot better than we did! But it was a great day on the lake. What were you using and how deep?

As usual, my wife caught more than I using a pink u20 ff . Slow trolling the shallows with 1/2 to1 oz banana wt. I did best with a frisky jenny trolling fly. I think the trick right now is to find some fish and stay with them. We caught 7 fish in one very small area.
