My buddy Jose wanted to hit Quarry Lakes again today, since the bight was pretty good the last few days. Met him out there with his Nephew at the Peninsula. Jose had a nice 5+ pounder on and the Lunker ended breaking his leader line prior to me showing up. Fisherman Fred and his friends all saw the splash from the lunker. It was BIG is what I was told!!!! Fishing was a lot tougher today than the past couple of days being out there. Fished from about 1:00pm to 7:00pm, this time I went 3 for 8. 2 out of 3 of the planters had nice pink meat inside, thicker and longer than your average dfg planters, also had very nice color on them. My buddy Jose & his nephew ended the day with 3 fish and missed about 4 other bites.

Got to hangout with Fisherman Fred and met a couple of his buddies. The highlight of the day was Nick, one of Fisherman Fred's buddies, landed a very nice 10 pound 4 ounce Rainbow Trout. Very nice looking WHOPPER!!! Edged out Fisherman Fred's lunker by 3 ounces from last Thursday!! Here are a couple of pics with Nick & the lunker:

Heard from Fisherman Fred that a few other lunkers were caught in the morning.

Also, met NorthBay Troutster fishing at the Peninsula. Nice meeting another fellow sniffer!!!

Until next time....
