Went to Pardee for the first time Sunday. Launched the boat at about 7 and headed straight up the river arm. First fish on at about 8am...a nice 14" rainbow while slow toplining a Seps Pro Grub. Got 3 more with the last fish coming at 10:45 then nothing after that, calling it quits around 2 after making a few passes after lunch. Total count - 4 rainbows, 14-17" all while toplining a Seps Pro Grub. From what we heard and saw, it was a pretty slow day...only saw one other small rainbow caught. Beautiful day on the water. Surface water temp was 58-62.

Nice report! Did you try for some bass there?

I've fished Pardee 3 times this year and haven't gotten a limit yet.
Maybe the bite will pick up as soon as this weather figures out what it wants to do.
Takeing my Nephew and great Nephew Saturday.
Would be nice to get them into fish.
Were you running the grubs naked?
TT

TT - yes, nothing in front of the grubs. except for a small bullet sinker to get it down a bit.

We were there on Sunday too. We managed to get 2 Rainbows on a top lined nightcrawler and 2 dinkazoid Kokes 10" on spinners at 15'. What a beautiful day. We stayed till 3pm. We were in the Gold/White Jetcraft . The fishing was very slow, but the beautiful day was tops...

was at pardee about 2 months ago , could not get a bite with power bait or nightcrawlers .After lunch i switched spots across from the boat launch and threw in a plastic worm to nail about four nice trout in an hour.so i packed up and headed home. Reported it on here a while back w/ pics if interested. well good luck.
