I heard yesterday that Quarry got a plant of 750lbs on Tuesday so I decided to hit it this morning. Got to the lake at 0500 and started off next to the swim beach. Seemed like I was the first one there and only one fishing for the first hour. Anyways, I did not get any bites so at 0600 I moved to the peninsula. By this time I start seeing fisherman at fishermans row while there were only 2 of us at the peninsula. There were no bites as the 0700 hr approaches. Tried different colors of PW/PE combo, PB and nightcrawlers to entice a bite but nothing. Then I switched to all white PE/PW around 0720 and 5mins later I see my bell jingle and starts going up. I set the hook and it was FISH ON! It was a 12incher, bleeding and kept. After re-casting that same pole I get a hit again within 5mins. When I set the hook and it felt heavy. This time this fish was a fatty, about 2lbs. I quickly re-casted to that same spot but no more bites. Left by 0800.

Nice day out on the water:
