go to the siver creek inlet about 300 yards their a 4 big stumps fish right their all you need is a split shot and hook and any color power bait it does not matter all your trying to do is get to fall like the bait they feed the trout at fish farms we got most of ares on the fall cast master and rooster tails worked well good luck

Fished it yesterday. Started at the inlet and landed two. One on P.B. and the other on a crawler drifted through the current under a slip bobber. Moved to the dam and and filled out my limit with P.B. on the bottom.

Thx man, thats one of my fav setups. Oh Caples was good too huh? Was the size better on the fish or about the same? Usually when I hit caples the fish are quite a bit better on size. We shot a MP5 .22lr clone, and a MPA930 9mm mini mac. Good times. Took out quite a bit of lizards with the 22 lol

So never made it to Icehouse but went to commanche instead...6.5 lb rainbow (big male) and several others in the 2+lb range...I went with my father last year and caught a 9lb when visiting before I moved out, just casting a gold Rapala from the shore in very shallow water (April) by the south shore campgrounds. I miss my snook and redfish fishing but big trout on light tackle are fun too!

With my big boat in the bay area now (28ft twin engine WA), need some help with bay area saltwater fishing now, help with gas and we are good to go on weekends when not traveling...
