Does anyone have some advice on a trip to take in the next week or so in the Bay area. I am not looking to go way out just like a half day inside the bay. What species are hitting now and what guide/boat do you suggest? Thanks for any suggestions.

Check with the local Oil Skimmers. Sorry but unless you are gong into Susiun Bay I wouldn't go. Don't know any half day boats. Of course you could pay for a full day and go in at noon.

You may want to do the delta striper/sturgeon thing. The Happy Hooker is based in Martinez this time of year and goes to the mothball fleet usually for striper action.

I'll throw in my favorite boat, The Reel-Lentless. Bob's a great guy and can plan his trip to your schedule. He has a web site as well. You can find it under: bodega bay fishing charters (He's not in Bodega now, but in martinez).

Luck Strike fighing is good a good bet for the striper/sturgeon in Suisun Bay. He usually does really good and gets you on the fish.
