Opening day for dungeness...3 pots pulled for limits for 4, all 2 1/2 lbs average with some 3 lbers in the mix. Have a line of 12 pots out, no need to pull the rest, will be back Sunday to rebait and check the rest. Ocean was relatively calm with a lull swell of 6-8 fett spread out with less than 15 kts of wind. Pots soaking off of Salmon Creek area.

Took the kids to the jetty all day, one sublegal crab is all we got :'( glad to see someone got some crab.

Very nice - please ask those guys to have their friends crawl down to Tomales Bay - my boats too little for open water :-[

John, how did you do in tomales? I did not do too well off the jetty with the kids.

Hi rich - yes I read your post - bummer. Didn't make it out Sat. - PM will explain - on my way today though from what I'm reading I need a bigger boat in order to get out to the deep water.

Good for you !! Really nice photos of the catch. I fished South and there were no takers there. Thank you for the report!!
