Started out at 7am. Headed for the BIG Hat Island. Put out two Grubs. Not even 5 mins. into the troll, both rods get slammed... This is before the sun even hits the water. Then another. Going to be a great fast day, NOT really. Worked the Hat island area until 12 noon. Released all 6 fish. Now its time to put out the Rapala's. Heading back towards the north shore ramp. Get out in front of a point and BAM!!! A thought my new reel was coming apart. Ended up boating around a 4 pounder. Didn't want to clean one fish, so back into the water it goes. I should have taken a picture http://www.imhooked.com/forumsyabb/Templates/Forum/default/angry.gif So back to pick up Aaron (Windmeel) at 1:30. We stayed with the Rapala's. Up into the Narrows and around this area for a while. Released 4 more on the Rapala's. Released 10 fish and had about 5 or 6 more grabs, that didn't stick. I know with the full moon and the flat calm water it getting tougher. My Speeds are way down from the Normal. I think if you were to stay with the grubs at 1.2 - 1.5 you could boat more fish. Here's the good stuff...

Lures: Grubs / Rapala's
Speed: Grubs 1.4 Rapala's 2.2
Area: Big Hat w/ Grubs
Narrows w/ Rapalas
Depth: Surface
Setback: 150' - 175'
Scent: Pro-cure Shad Gel

Here are some photo's to enjoy...

So there are fish there to be caught. Just have to move around and change if its not working. 7 to 5 9hours of work for 10 released fish. Next time i will try to remember to take a couple pictures of the fish next to the boat. Until next time...

Second Chance: Loading the pictures is kinda pain. There are a lot of steps. From your camera, to a resizing place, to a uploading place, to the boards. Not easy!!! If you have questions, PM me. I will try to help!!! I resize my photo's to 600X450

Trout Tracker: The Full moon and the Flat water has made it tough. Once everything settles down a bit, i will be back to the normal 20 to 40 fish days. You can see that my little planer board is put out a 3" wake. Good Luck to you...

You trolled right by me (wouldn't know who you are though :). I was on the day use area on north shore. Bank fishing of course. I was just past the main point on your right as you head out to the lake. I was there just before 7 and caught six and my dad caught one. Not really sure how that worked out but... It was a long day to get those six fish since we stayed until 3pm. Glad you did well.

RideNfish: I could not believe all those on the bank fishing. Aaron says there are usually a lot of bank fisherman on this side of the ramp. Was wondering why nobody fishes the other side to the Left of the ramp? Glad you were able to put a few fish on the stringer!!! Hope dad gets more next time...

Second Chance...I load all our pics from the camera to our computer onto Picasa (free).
Then I upload them to folders I create into a website called Webshots (also free). Then you can resize them & copy & paste them into Fishsniffer (or any other forum you wish to.) With practice it's pretty easy & fast.

Koke M,
It got crowded that is for sure. I was a bit surprised being my first time over there and and on a Friday. I did talk to the marina and one person did mention going to the left of the ramp and people sometimes do well. I might try that next time. I thought about it as I sat there. I think the bank over there has less undulations and such. Just looks less changing if that makes sense. I know it's a bit of a walk too since you can't drive down and park.

Did you troll that side of the cove and get anything?

RideNfish: I have caught some trolling that area. Its not very deep on that side. I know aways out from there, there are some under water trees. I was surprised of the amount of folks fishing on the Right side and non on the Left?? Good Luck to you on your next adventure!!!

I use Photo bucket, thats my up loading site. When you put the courser on the picture, at the bottom, you will see IMG code, click on that and it will copy the photo. Then add it to your Post.

Where an what is photobucket,cost,

Here is a folder (http://s116.photobucket.com/albums/o14/ScreaminRK/Signiture%20Pictures/?start=all) I keep at photobucket (PB) for signature pictures at The Road King Riders (http://www.roadkingriders.com) We just use the links that appear under the photos (of your own photos only) and post them in threads. If you click on the RoadkingRiders website and then go to messages and scroll thru one you will see lots of "signature" pictures. This is our way of signing off and being familiar with everyone as well as to show different things. It has been a bit of a challenge for me to learn this site as far as posting pics goes. I used photobucket to do this post with pics (http://www.fishsniffer.com/trout-board/86974-camanche-bank-fishing-12-23-a.html#post800417) last month and it took me a bit to figure it out. I have not used the photo storage here and don't know if that would make it easier.

When you open an account with PB it is free and you can organize different folders. I have many but the one I am showing you is some things I routinely grab for the RoadKing site. You have to set your photos up to be seen by anybody otherwise it won't work in posting to sites like this due to password protection. Also keeping the photo size small on PB keeps the pic from overtaking the thread. If people want to see larger pics I just give them a direct link like this (http://s116.photobucket.com/albums/o14/ScreaminRK/Turlock%20Lake%20Fishing/?action=view&current=IMG_0388.jpg) so it doesn't show here.

Sample pic below :-).... Now you know why I chose "RideNfish" :) Hope this helps.

SMOGGUY: Don, Photobucket is Free. You can google it. Its really easy. I'm not a computer person at all. If i can figure it out, anyone can. I believe you can also "Resize" the photo's there.

Camanche Thread: I am not a big fan of the "Single out Threads" We will end up with a lot of different stories. They are hard to keep up with. Two of us will give a Trolling Post and Two will give a Bank Posts. Some times it hard to keep them apart. I just enjoy Posting my own, That way i can help those that ask questions. Some times i even get lost reading those "Single out Threads". Just my 4 cents. Cost of everything is going up :)
