maybe the way you worded this sounds err.......fishy but did you really catch 3 keepers for yourself? or did you and 2 passengers caught three total? or did you catch and release 3 keeper size fish? inquiring minds want to know.

White Cap and I were at that same location being one of the 1st to anchor and one of the last to leave... from about 8:30 to 4:30 and the only thing that jumped was me when I spilled my bottled water on my lap  .

We saw a couple of shaker Stripers netted on surrounding boats but didn't see any Dino landed...not saying it didn't happen. And oh yeah, neither of the bait shop in Rio Vista had any grass shrimp but were due for delivery later that afternoon. :animal-smiley-048:

At any rate, congrats

seon, white cap and dog, i managed to get some grass shrimp on friday 02/11/11 from Bob's Bait in Isleton. they didn't have much in the tank and we were the first customers that day, so they probably ran out later on.

We got bait on Thursday in Rio at Haps, I think it was at the end of there load, as there were several dead ones in the group. They were the only game in town. We were there at about 7:00 AM. Put in at Brannon and headed donw to Collinsville area. We were the only boat there until about 11:30, it was zilch for everyone from what we could tell. Headed back up to troll on the West Bank and the San Joaquin and saw about 10 to 12 boats up and around decker and the barges. Didn't look like much going on. Water was slightly stained, some grass if left too long, temp was 51-51.8 degrees. Never saw a jumper all day! Congrats on being the lucky boat of the day !!!

I didnt catch all those by myself there were 3 of us on board. We got grass shrimp at Haps after going to Rio Vista bait where they had none. The guy called haps for us to make sure they still had grass shrimp. We went out the following day and got nothin but 5 bites and a catfish, what a difference a day makes...We seen mayb 3 jumpers compared to the 20 the day b4.And all fish were released
