On the water at 0730 with a nice cool calm start at Garnett Pt.
Tide was outging, water stained and some minor debris floating.
Water temp was 49.7 Bait was a combo of eel, grass & ghost shrimp.
fished the entire outgo with only two hap hazard pull downs with no hook ups.
Grass became a real problem as the tide wound down . Only a few boats in the area.

Fished the incoming at the Fleet with a few other boats near Bouy 6.
Water temp was up to 51.6 and water a little stained with little to no debris problems. (outgo was murky).
Same bait combo plus one pole with straight grass on it. It got all the action, two short Sturgeon (30-33inches) several pull downs and one very very short striper.
Wind came up about mid morning and stayed most of the day!

That's it, a nother picnic on the water kind of day. F&G stopped by and said most folks were reporting getting lots of undersized sturgeon with no rpts of any keepers and lots of small stripers.

Off the water at 4:00 PM

Good Luck to all and be safe out there, that water is coooooooooold !!!! :cold:
