Met Manuel on the hitchhiker late night we meet at I - 5 and 99 at 6:30 on the money. We got to the ramp at about ten to eight and in the water we trilled for awhile which I never have any luck doing there. Than it was power bait time the temp. was 34D but clear. Manuel got the first and second fish at 9:00 and we moved and waited and fished then I caught the 2.5 er. We bait fished tell 1:00 then tried the trolling again we came across a bunch of fish at 50 to 70 feet and about a mile long I asked a another boater what they where he says trout they had two. That was enough for today.

Sounds like you two had a great day,and fish to show for it.
Great pictures and the lake looks full.I keep telling myself that i got to get to Collins real soon.
I think a few weeks of warmer weather might get the fish more active.

Steve Thank you so much for giving me a chance to fish with you. It was slow but we had fun. 3 fish is not bad at all. Remember we should of had 5 total but still your fish put a fight. Looking at those pictures those fish look very small next to me lol. Those fish at 50 feet where sweet to see but to bad none wanted to come home with us. Hope its not the first or last time we meet again. Thanks again.
